Welcome to the Rattan Agro Tech blog. Here we will share practical guides on laser land levelling, farm machinery and money-saving tips for farmers. Before that, we want to introduce ourselves properly: who we are, what we make, and why thousands of farmers and over 100 dealers trust the Rattan name.
Who we are
Rattan Agro Tech was established in 2008 at Nabha, Distt. Patiala, Punjab, as a partnership firm with one clear objective: to build dependable, well-engineered agricultural implements that Indian farmers can count on, season after season.
What began as a modest workshop has grown into a fully equipped manufacturing unit on the Nabha–Bhadson Road. Today we are an ISO 9001:2008 certified manufacturer and exporter, and our machines work on fields from Punjab to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

Our journey so far

| 2016 | Became India’s largest distributor of Alpha Pro Shot laser systems, with the complete laser kit supplied with every leveller. |
| 2019 | Export operations begin, with first shipments to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Factory upgraded with new fabrication and testing equipment. |
| Today | 18+ years of manufacturing, a growing dealer network across India, and new models under development. |
What we make
Every machine below is fabricated, welded, assembled, painted and inspected inside our own factory, and carries the Rattan name.
1. Laser Land Leveller (our flagship)
An uneven field wastes water on the high spots and drowns the low ones. The Rattan Laser Leveller cuts and fills in a single pass, guided by a laser, until the whole field sits at one even grade. A level field can save up to 30% of irrigation water and gives uniform germination.
- Comes with the complete Alpha Pro Shot laser kit: transmitter, receiver and control box
- Hydraulic control from the tractor seat, with AUTO and MANUAL modes
- Heavy-duty MS channel frame and a replaceable bolted cutting edge
- Single-wheel and twin-wheel models, for 50 HP and above tractors of any brand
- Works on clay, loam, sandy and black cotton soils

2. Super Seeder
Sows wheat directly into standing paddy stubble. The residue is cut, mixed into the soil and the seed goes down in one single pass, so there is no need to burn stubble. It saves diesel and time, and is eligible for government subsidy under the crop residue management scheme.
3. Rotavator
Prepares a fine, seed-ready bed in one pass and replaces several tillage operations. It has hardened carbon steel blades, comes in 5 ft, 6 ft and 7 ft widths, and suits tractors of 35 HP and above.
4. Spray Pump
A tractor-mounted, PTO-driven sprayer with a high-capacity tank, a high-pressure pump for even coverage, and a corrosion-resistant tank and fittings. It works for field spraying, orchard spraying and large-scale pest management.
5. Fertiliser Spreader
Broadcasts granular fertilisers like urea, DAP and SSP evenly across the field in a fraction of the time it takes by hand. Spread width and rate are adjustable.
